Beloved Community will be joining churches all across the city, state, country, and world who are moving to exclusively digital worship in response to the Coronavirus and COVID19 pandemic.

We will have our Sunday Morning worship with Zoom. Worship will start at 11:00am.

Please read the below message from Pastor Nelson Pierce Jr. regarding this decision.

“To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.”
-Ecclesiastes 3:1 Jubilee Bible 2000

These words of scripture always encourage me to seek to discern what season of life surrounds me, especially in times that are filled with challenges and questions.  This season in which we find ourselves currently, as doors of public gathering spaces are literally being closed all around us, this season is different than any season in which I have lived. We are being called upon to live, work, love, and pray differently than we ever have before. As the pastor of Beloved Community Church, I am extending the invitation to every church member, every friend, every FBlive and YouTube member to help us answer this call.

First I want to let you know that Beloved Community will be joining churches all across the city, state, country, and world who are moving to exclusively digital worship in response to the Coronavirus and COVID19 pandemic. For the time being we will be using Zoom to conduct worship. You should be receiving an email, if you have not received it already, with the Zoom link or telephone number for our 11am Eastern Time worship. If you have do not receive it, please request the information from Karen Bell at [email protected]

Additionally you will still be able to join us for the sermon on FB live at 11:30am. We are still working out details for mid-week on-line gatherings. We will keep you up to date as we make those decisions and plans.

Second, I wanted encourage you to use our on-line giving page at belovedcommunitychurch.com/give to give your tithes and offerings. I know that finances for a lot of people are a concern right now, and I do not want you to give what you do not have. If you are able to give it would go a long way, especially now. I am anticipating that there will be a tremendous impact on our offering, and because of that I have made the decision to forgo any compensation or gifts from the church until we are on the other side of this crisis. It is my hope that by making this sacrifice, we can still pay the staff who are working hard to find new ways to connect us and to help us worship despite our separation.

Third, and most important, I am asking that each member of Beloved would continue and/or pick up a piece of work the ministry through the loving act of checking on one another. If every member who is able would commit to taking 45 minutes a week, outside of our digital church time, to check on 1-2 members, friends, and guests, we can be a tangible sign of God’s presence, even in this troubled times.

I want to thank you for all that you have done, and all that you continue to do to help share the message of God’s love and liberation. I hope it is good to know that I love you, and I hope that its even better to know that God loves you more.

Keep the Faith,

Rev. Nelson Pierce, Jr.
