Have you ever felt like maybe you have been called by God to do something special? Or maybe you have been told by somebody that there is something special about you, and you are not sure if you believe them. Maybe you have felt overwhelmed by the size of your vision, or are too scared to share it because it seems too unconventional.
At times I have felt like this, in my life and ministry, and even today I feel that God is calling Beloved Community Church to a mission that is so much bigger than us, that it will take all of our efforts, plus the hand of God to accomplish it. So I was excited when I heard about this Advent Devotional Series focusing on hearing and wrestling with God's call from Rev. Dr. Monica Coleman, a fabulous Black woman theologian whose work on mental health is one of the best in the country. Dr. Coleman is offered this powerful Advent Devotional for free for those who ordered it before midnight Sunday night (it is why I sent out the text message; because there was so little time left when I found out about it). I do not know if it is still being offered for free, but even if it isn't, it is a worthwhile investment in your spiritual growth and development. If there is a cost, and the cost is too high, please send me an email, or let us know through our prayer request page, and the church will cover the cost for you, so that you can be blessed by this devotional.
Also if you have not already, please sign up in the box to your right, so that we can stay in touch with you via email.
Praying God's blessings on you during this Advent Season.
